The OPJU University Central Library's primary objective is to enhance the knowledge of the O.P Jindal University academic community. This is achieved through a diverse collection of resources including books, journals (both print and electronic), theses & dissertations, CD-ROMs, audio-visual materials, online databases, newspapers, and magazines.

In terms of books, the OPJU boasts a collection of over 30000 books covering a wide range of subjects including Science & Technology, Management, Humanities & Social Sciences, , Hindi, English, Reference, and other related fields. For printed materials, the Central Library subscribes to 128 print journals, catering to the academic and research requirements.

The OPJU Library boasts an extensive collection comprising both physical and digital resources, encompassing books, journals, electronic databases, and e-journals. It subscribes to a variety of electronic resources, including IEEE, EBSCO Business Elite, EBSCO Academic Book Collection, and J-Gate DataType. Additionally, OPJU Library provides access to approximately 200,000 eBooks and access to approx. 12000 e-journals available in full-text through the subscribed online databases.
